In most installations, one unit is sufficient. However, larger racks with large heat loads may add the exhaust version of the Cool-Stack which mounts as high as possible in the equipment rack with the fans facing upward. By combining the two units an air current is created that can usually handle the most exhausting tasks (pun intended).

Please note that Cool-Stacks require unobstructed intake and exhaust openings: they will not work if there are doors on the rack. If this is the case, call us about alternate solutions.
