Polar Shades now offers Window Awnings which are an excellent solution for windows on your home that receive a lot of sunlight during the summer, but that you would also like to keep available for sunlight during the cooler months of the year.

Window Awnings come in a number of different frame colors including: White, Bronze, Camel and Ivory and are available in any of the Sunbrella Acrylic fabrics. Sunbrella Fabrics come in over 200 colors and have been given the Skin Cancer Foundation's “Seal of Recommendation” due to their superior ability to protect you and your belongings from the Sun’s harmful UV rays. Window Awnings are available in lengths from 5 to 30 feet to cover any window expanse you may have.

Fixed Awnings

Polar Shades Fixed Awnings are great for any home or business application you may have in mind. They are custom sized to your specifications and are built to endure in 1-2” Square Steel Tubing. Fixed Awnings are covered with Sunbrella Fabric. Sunbrella is the leader in Awning Fabrics and is available in hundreds of colors both solid and striped. It has also been given the Skin Cancer Foundation’s “Seal of Recommendation” for its superior ability to protect from UV rays. Soliris Sun/Wind Sensor

The Soliris Sun & Wind Sensor is a radio sun and wind sensor that is compatible with RTS motors and can be installed on any retractable shade or awning. The sun and wind thresholds can be set directly on the Soliris Sensor.

Eolis Wind Sensor

The Eolis Wind Sensor is a radio wind sensor that is compatible with RTS motors and can be installed on any retractable shade or awning. The wind threshold can be set directly on the Eolis Sensor.

Sunis Sun Sensor

The Sunis Sun Sensor is a wireless radio sun sensor that is compatible with any Somfy RTS motor or sensor. Integrated solar cells provide an autonomous working. It provides an automatic sun function on motorized exterior shades.

Eolis Wirefree Sensor

The Eolis Wirefree RTS Sensor is a battery powered, 2-axis vibration sensor that detects vibrations of an awning caused by excessive wind. It will transmit a radio signal to retract an awning when vibration due to wind exceeds a set point. It comes packaged in a weather proof enclosure and is meant to mount on the front bar of an awning.

ILT Motors

ILT Motors offer a unique addressability that will allow you to assign each motor a network address for selective control using your current home automation system. You can easily integrate motors using dry contact, radio, IR or RS-232/RS-485. You can also easily add motors and controllers for new and changing applications.

Sonesse Motors
