Introduced by Xantech at the 2005 Cedia this emitter is designed to help installers create aesthetically pleasing installations. The 282X æNaked emitterÆ is a high power emitterwithout the shell, and is designed to be installed within the component itself, for the cleanest possible appearance. Simply install the emitter within the case of the equipment near the internalIR receiver (the high power of the 282X makes exact positioning unnecessary), and run the small 28AWG gauge wire out of the back of the component, allowing for an inconspicuous installation.
