Episode® Landscape Speaker Kit with Satellite Speakers and 1000 Watt Crown® Amplifier
Whether playing soft background music or rocking in your backyard, this Episode® Landscape Series Kit provides stunning, discreet audio performance. It features four premium 4” two-way speakers driven by a powerful two-channel Crown® amplifier for a superior performance that’s unmatched by the competition – and at a fraction of the cost, it only sounds expensive. Preconfigured DSP settings match the amp to the speakers and offer customizable parameters to match your specific application. The system supports hybrid 70V/8-ohm systems, and the speakers feature tap settings for individual volume control in 70V mode. This kit includes (4) ES-LS-SAT-4-BRN, and (1) CR-CDI1000-LSCAPE.
Important Note - This speaker requires one of our four compatible mounting accessories, including ES-LS-STAKE-12, ES-LS-MOUNT-TREE, ES-LS-MOUNT-SURFACE, or ES-LS-MOUNT-BOX.
Crown® CDi Series Amplifier
All that sound from a single amp? This powerful Crown® amplifier delivers incredible performance for speaker systems both big and small. Preconfigured DSP settings match the amp to the speakers and offer customizable parameters to match your specific application. The amp supports hybrid 70V/8-ohm systems – and best of all, it’s only 2U, meaning it can fit in a rack and keep the music hot, all while staying cool.
Important Note - To reduce the chance of customers over driving the speakers and subwoofers, we recommend using the included tamper-resistant knobs.
Versatile Speaker Outputs
Use both channels at 70V or run one at 70V and the other down to a 2 ohm load – either way, this amplifier is up to the task. It’s perfect for combining our 70V landscape speakers with a standard low impedance subwoofer to create a system that really hits home.
2U Design
All this power is delivered from a compact 2U rack-mount design. Conveniently placed handles make the amp easy to install, while an integrated fan and front-to-back airflow keeps it running cool no matter how long it’s in use.

Tamper-Resistant Knobs
This Crown amp includes two tamper-resistant knobs, which keeps customers from altering preconfigured settings and possibly damaging equipment. Simply make the necessary amp adjustments during install, remove the old knobs, and place the tamper-resistant knobs in place.
Pre-Programmed EQ and Customizable DSP
Out of the box this amplifier is designed to work specifically with our Episode® Landscape Speakers. It is shipped to your doorstep with EQ settings that are pre-programmed for maximum sound quality. And once it arrives, you can customize the DSP settings using Crown’s System Architect Software, tweaking it to your heart’s content.

Flexible Mounting Options
On the ground, in a tree, or underneath an eave – this speaker can be easily mounted in a variety of places for perfect coverage and performance. The ½" threaded mount is designed to work with outdoor lighting accessories, including our line of landscape speaker mounts.
Responsive Tweeter(s)
Project sound precisely where you want it. Our 4” and 6” satellites feature an ultra-responsive ¾” aluminum dome tweeter to more accurately reproduce and disperse high frequencies across any space, while the triple tweeter array on the 8” Landscape speakers is made of high-quality titanium, and allows for a robust 120° of sound dispersion.
Twice The Toughness
The high stiffness and strength of our speaker arm makes these satellites more durable than ever.* POM-engineered thermoplastic is water-resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures without compromising the arm’s mechanical properties. *8" model features brass insert in speaker arm, for additional durability.
Adjustable Volume
Regulating sound outdoors can be tricky - nobody wants speakers blasting behind an intimate seating arrangement, or playing at a low volume in far corners of the outdoor space. When used in 70V mode, the Episode Landscape Series gives you adjustable volume control at every speaker. Plus the switch is conveniently located inside the watertight rear cover, so it’s easily accessible even after the speakers are installed.
Broad Coverage
Our satellite speakers are optimized to excel outdoors. They have a wide dispersion angle with up to 120 degrees of coverage*, in order to project incredible sound, right where you want it. *4" and 6" models have a 110° dispersion angle, while the 8" model offers a 120° disperson angle.
Built to Withstand Weather
An outdoor speaker should be able to stand up to tough weather. That’s why this one was torture tested to extreme temperatures, from -20° to 185°Fahrenheit. Three feet of heavy-duty, burial-rated 16/2 cable and silicone-filled waterproof wire nuts are included in the box, ensuring that this speaker will live a long, trouble-free life in any outdoor setting.
Lifetime Limited Warranty
This Episode® product has a Lifetime Limited Warranty. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to SnapAV or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
