AT3007RM
This is the rack-mount version of the AT3005
Designed by legendary amplifier engineer Morris Kessler, the AT3000 (and AT2000) series introduce ATI’s Pure Balance™ fully balanced, true differential circuit topology. This elegant design is basically two separate amplification circuits for each channel. One circuit amplifies the positive half of the audio signal while the other amplifies the negative half. They are combined at the output with tremendous benefits: any noise coming in from external sources, such as radio-frequency and electromagnetic interference is eliminated; amplifier noise is cut in half; the speed (slew rate) of the amplifier is doubled for better reproduction of high frequencies and better transient performance. In the AT3000 series, power output for each module is 300 Watts RMS/ channel into 8 Ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with no more than 0.03% THD and I.M. distortion and 450 Watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms. The AT3000 is available in 2 to 7 channel configurations. Each model comes standard with 2 massive toroidal transformers and 36,000 microfards of power supply capacitance per channel. Other features making it installer-friendly are: a detachable IEC power cord, optically coupled protection circuits, soft-start circuit, 12-volt trigger, peak clipping indicator and convection cooling.
Rated at 300W RMS per each of its 7 channels with all channels driven, it is worth noting that the AT3007 draws the maximum amount of current that can be legally supplied to a 120V wall outlet.
The AT3007 ships with a 20 amp power cord and needs to be plugged into a dedicated 20 amp wall outlet.
All ATI amplifiers are designed, engineered and assembled in the United States.
