Earthquake’s In-Ceiling/In-Wall Rough-In Kits offer extreme versatility for all installations. These rough-in kits are designed to expedite installations as well as deliver higher overall performance and customer satisfaction.

Custom designed for custom installations, the In-Ceiling RK series kits are designed to be compatible with the IQ Series speakers (CM6S/Dual and CM8S/Dual), SweetSpot (SS-82W) and Imãge in-ceiling speakers (CM600 and CM800).

Our In-Wall RK kits are super resilient. Made of fire retardant plastic, which is over ¼” thick, the RK back box significantly reduces musical over-hang that is found when speakers are installed in double-sided walls (walls dividing multiple rooms). This newly designed back box snaps easily to the rough-in kit and enhances speaker performance by utilizing given air space, delivering clear and clean sound quality.
