600W UPB™ Dimmer Switch
The 600 Watt UPB™ Dimmer Switch is used for controlling and dimming lighting loads up to 600 Watts. It comes with a default white paddle, connectors, and instructions.
These switches may be changed from a Dimmer mode to a Non-Dimming mode.
Switch Color Change Kits, sold in case lots of 12 only, are available in White, Ivory, Almond, Light Almond, Brown, Grey, and Black.
Configuration Software
When used with an Omni family or Lumina family home control system HLC products automatically configure themselves, and outside software is not required.
HAI offers HAI UPB™ UPStart Configuration software for professionals who desire to make advanced changes to HAI's default setup. It will allow you to change the mode of a Dimmer Switch to be Non-Dimming or vice-versa. This software also allows you to change the colors on the switch's LED and the rate that it brightens to fully on or dims to fully off.
Requirements / Recommendations
- 600W Switches require a neutral (white) connection wire.
- If you are using an HAI home control system with HLC switches, you must install a UPB™ PIM.
- HAI recommends that every HAI Lighting Control (HLC) installation include a Phase Coupler.
- To use the HAI Upstart Configuration software you must install a UPB™ PIM and use a UPB™ PIM to computer cable to connect it to a computer.
De-rating
In three-gang installations these switches must be de-rated to 500W.
