Digital Two-Channel TV Amplifier
with IR learning and Sub Out TVA2.1
Many televisions today deliver underpowered, subpar audio quality due to the limited space available inside the TV. This means an amplifier is required to enhance the sound quality, but amps can be too large for the room décor, or inconvenient for the installer to hide away. The Russound TVA2.1 amplifier is a product designed to enhance the audio quality of televisions or other local sources in a smaller form factor at a competitive price. The smaller footprint means the TVA2.1 can be hidden behind the television or mounted in a structured wiring panel for convenience. The TVA2.1 can be an excellent addition to many light commercial applications, such as hotel rooms, spas, and restaurants, as well as providing a better audio experience for the televisions in any home.
The TVA2.1 provides several different input choices for flexibility. There are digital Coax and Optical inputs, and an analog RCA Line Level input. The TVA2.1 supports 24bit/96khz SPDIF audio.
The quality class-D digital amplifier sends a respectable 35 Watts into 4ohms. There is a subwoofer output to support 2.1 Audio.
When used with a fixed audio input, the TVA2.1 volume can be controlled via an IR remote, and has an IR input connection to attach any Russound external IR receiver, sold separately. The TVA2.1 also has the ability to learn in basic volume functions from any other standard IR remote commonly supplied with the TV.
The 24VDC 4A power supply provides high output power to support full range of amplifier operation.
