MBX Streaming Audio Solutions

The two new products in the MBX family are dedicated to wireless streaming - The MBX-AMP is a full-featured streaming audio player with a built-in amplifier; the MBX-PRE is a preamp-only (non-amplified) version. These new streaming MBX products give you the flexibility and reliability needed to satisfy the needs of any clientele. And they deliver high-quality music performance that today’s customers demand. And now with the ability to take voice commands from Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, these new streaming products are a welcome addition to any customer’s home entertainment functionality with simple Voice Control.

The MBX-PRE Streaming Audio Player and the MBX-AMP Wi-Fi Streaming Zone Amplifier are designed to offer simple-to-install and simple-to-configure streaming media solutions to add high quality streaming content, anywhere in the home. The advanced TV integration features enable the MBX-AMP to share speakers between your TV and your audio system easily without having to use any additional hardware or control system. The MBX-PRE, through its easy-to-use analog line-level/digital outputs, adds high quality streaming audio to ANY system installation.

MBX-Series can be used as a single stereo audio streaming source for a single room or supply a single audio stream to a larger whole-house system and allows for expansion to up to 32 streaming rooms of audio in a single installation with any combination of MBX-Series products. When paired with a Russound multi-room controller, system expansion is possible up to 8 independent audio sources and up to 48 total rooms of audio.

The addition of popular streaming services such as TIDAL®, Deezer® and Chromecast built-in for Audio support (with full metadata to iOS/Android apps or XTSPlus) to our already powerful lineup allows for a wide variety of choices for your customer. In addition to offering streaming audio from many popular internet sources, the MBX-Series also features AirPlay® and Bluetooth® as well as streaming of local UPnP™ compliant audio. The built-in USB port allows users to connect an external flash drive or an externally powered USB hard drive for use as additional music sources. Using Web Config, MBX-Series can be completely configured, quickly and easily, right from the palm of your hand!
