The Russound X1 Professional Wireless Audio Platform is designed for multi-room audio applications. The X1-RX2 is a small but powerful Wireless Line-level Receiver that communicates directly with an X1 transmitter (X1-TX8, required and sold separately) from a distance up to 30 meters (100 feet). With both line-level analog and optical digital outputs, the X1-RX2 connects to an external amplifier to deliver a perfect multi-zone audio solution for retrofit applications. Using the optical digital inputs and outputs on the X1 system, you can extend a digital audio source by wirelessly transmitting a digital audio signal from a remote location to an audio system.
