ZBMPlug15 - HA Wireless Metering Smart Plug - Model #5010Q
This on/off plug adapter enables remote control and monitoring of lamps and appliances. It measures the energy consumed by the appliance, allowing total energy management by the consumer. The built-in high power ZigBee HA certified radio joins the HA network as a ZigBee router and then facilitates the joining of other devices thus extending the enitre network.
Use of the ZigBee® HA Profile ensures compatibility with the emerging standards for smart homes/buildings being deployed around the world.
Max load 15A/120V AC. 240V AC option is available on request, although device is still equipped for North American style (NEMA 5-15) receptacles. For Indoor use. Plugs into any outlet (3-prong).

What is the Smart Grid?
The Smart Grid came about as a solution to increased energy consumption and its related rising costs. It has been adopted worldwide as a system that allows consumers and utilities to share information about power usage. Monitoring energy usage can reduce the threat of brownouts and blackouts that cost billions of dollars annually and create terrible risk to people during heat waves and freezing weather.
