40m/131ft 1UTP with IR & EDID adjustment

The WyreStorm EX-1UTP-IR-40 is a short range single cable extender set capable of transmiting full 1080p HD video, HD audio and one-way IR source control together through the HDMI signal over a Cat5ei/6/7 cable distances up to 40m (131ft) under ideal transmission conditions* For even greater control and fine tuning, the EX-1UTP-IR-40 features EQ DIP switches on both Transmitter and Receiver baluns to either encourage EDID communication between devices in the event of installation difficulties (Transmitter) or a fully adjustable EQ distance range for optimizing the transmission signal depending on cable length (Receiver) The EX-1UTP-IR-40 also contains protection against ESD (electrostatic discharge) within the baluns to further stabilize transmission with LEDs on the unit housing for clear power and video signal indication. 5v mains supply included but receivers may be powered through the USB port of the display using WyreStorm USB to 5v power adapterr (see accessories)

Designed with the typical requirements of todays installation projects in mind, the EX-1UTP-IR-40 is a highly adaptable single-cable point to point HD extender set capable of 1080p transmissions up to 40m (131ft) under ideal conditions* with wide-band IR control of source devices from remote locations.

For even greater control and compatibility, the Transmitter features a fully adjustable EQ EDID DIP settings to encourage communication between the connected devices, while an EQ Distance Range selector on the Receiver allows the transmission signal to be optimised specifically by distance. Both EQ switches offer fully customisable settings to fine-tune your distribution through the baluns,

Transmitter and Receiver baluns also contain protection against ESD (electrostatic discharge) to further stabilise transmission with LEDs on the unit housing for clear power and video signal indication. 5v mains supply but baluns may also be powered through the USB port of connected devices using Wyrestorm USB to 5v power adapter (both power adapters included)

Additionally, the EX-1UTP-IR-40 is fully cascadable, with transmission lengthened by connecting to multiple 40m extender sets for increased distribution and even greater flexibility, whatever the installation environment.

*NOTE: ideal conditions denote cable run is within specified distance range of product, no electrical interference, the use of straight cable runs with no bends or kinks and no patch panels orwall outlets used.
